This year was Ronan's 1st year in 4-H and he was thrilled to raise his first market animal for the San Mateo County Fair -- a hog named Keefe (a character in Keeper of the Lost Cities). He put his heart and soul into raising this animal with 2x / day trips to the farm and a cocktail of premium feeds sourced from all Central California. Unfortunately due to the chemotherapy Ronan is going through now, he won't be able to compete next month, but the fair has graciously offered to auction Keefe with the other 4-H animals on June 12th. So if you're looking for some super high quality bacon, you know where to find it....
